Tier List
Are you looking for a MultiVersus tier list? Below, we have included a tier list for the MultiVersus roster so far, arranged into tiers. A character’s placement is decided by their effectiveness in battles: power, versatility, moveset, and so on. We should say that all characters in MultiVersus are viable and more than capable of winning matches in the right hands — this is just our subjective read on things. Without further ado, here’s our tier list for MultiVersus.
Note: This tier list will be updated regularly as more characters are added and the game’s balance is adjusted over time.
S Tier
S Tier characters are the most viable and most capable fighters in MultiVersus so far.
A Tier
A Tier fighters are very good MultiVersus characters that can be extremely effective in the right hands.
B Tier
Characters in the B Tier are decent in most situations and have potential if you really learn their ins and outs.
C Tier
C Tier characters aren’t the best fighters in the game, but still have one or two redeeming qualities if you really want to play them.

MultiVersus Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners
In this part of our MultiVersus guide, we have some general tips, tricks, and advice for players who are just starting out. Let’s dive into some of the basics.
Not All Characters Are Available Immediately
Yes, you will need to unlock most of the characters in MultiVersus. You can do this in a few ways. Firstly, you can earn Gold by simply playing the game. Save up enough, and you can use your earnings to unlock a new fighter. Alternatively, you can use Gleamium — a premium currency — to unlock them. If you happen to have any Character Tickets, these can also be used to unlock characters.
The amount of Gold needed to unlock a fighter varies, but maxes out at 3,000. Characters can also be bought for 700 Gleamium. For more information on How to Earn Gold Fast, click the link.
Co-Op Means Co-Op
MultiVersus’ main mode of play is 2 vs 2, and its characters have been built with this in mind. Most characters have something within their moveset that benefits your ally; Wonder Woman can cleanse a teammate of any debuffs and apply a brief shield, while Batman’s smoke bomb grants his partner temporary invisibility and invulnerability while in the smoke. It’s worth exploring how characters can help out teammates to maximise your chances.
Apply Perks Before Battle
When you use a character, you will increase their Mastery Level. Doing so will unlock Perks, and these can be applied before each round to give you (and your teammates) some sort of passive buff. It’s easy to overlook this, but Perks can make a big difference, reducing damage taken, giving you a third jump, and lots more. Make sure you check out Perks to benefit your character.
You Have Lots of Options for Recovery
In MultiVersus, you’ll spend some of your time with feet on the ground, but an equal amount in mid-air. Fortunately, players have a tonne of options available to them while airborne, so if you’re sent flying away from the stage, don’t just give up. While in the air, you have a second jump, an air dodge, and unlimited use of moves. You can use all of these to recover from knockback, or just to remain airborne and do battle above ground level.
Don’t Forget About Attack Decay
When you use a particular attack too often, it will begin to suffer from Decay. This means it will deal less hitstun and damage. In other words, make use of your character’s entire moveset to make sure you’re dealing as much pain as possible.
That’s our MultiVersus guide all wrapped up for now. Which of all characters is your favourite and who should be top of our tier list? Do you have any other tips on how to play? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
