Below mentioned are some of the things you can do to make a perfect green tea:

When making green tea, water that is at a rolling boil is typically too hot. If the water is kept too high then the tea can end up tasting bitter and astringent. It is recommended to use water that’s between 160 and 180 degrees. When you’re boiling water, this is the point at which the water is hot and bubbles are forming on the bottom of the pot but not on the surface. Also, it is advised heating the water until a steady stream of steam emerges from the bath.

  • Add honey:

Adding just a splash amount of honey will change this entire game! Green tea may have a “grassy” flavor when consumed alone. Some people can’t get enough of the taste, while others can’t get enough of it. If you fall into the latter category, a dash of honey can help to improve the flavor.

  • Adding mint/lemon juice:

Any of these will help bring out the flavor of your green in a subtle way. Try each one separately or both at the same time. Sometimes all your tea wants is a sprig of mint or a squeeze of lemon to bring out its full flavor.

  • High quality tea leaves:

Did you know fresh tea leaves, the ones which come in a loose form not in the tea bag form tend to produce better flavor because they have much more room to breathe Well, the flavour is quite richer and more authentic than tea which comes in prepackaged forms. 

  • Correct amount of tea:

So what is the correct proportion to get the best flavour of the tea? 2 grams+ 6 ounces of water is the correct ratio considered. However, you can change the same according to your taste.
